We encourage anyone interested in working with us to try and book their cake or other wedding desserts as soon as they are able. We do fill our calendar each summer with weddings, and work with a limited staff. Due to the complexity of each order we work on, we can only take a handful of weddings per week, so the earlier you know if you'd like to work with us, the better.
Since we are not a retail location we don't keep normal hours, so it's always best to call ahead if you plan on visiting with us. We tend to be at our bakery Tuesday through Friday and out on deliveries all day Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and Monday.
We encourage everyone that would like to meet face to face, to use our online scheduling tool below. This allows you to set up a date and time that is convenient for everyone that would like to come to the tasting. You'll receive a reminder a day beforehand and also the day of your appointment. We have a fairly small tasting room, so we do ask that you limit your party to 4 at the tasting if possible.
In most cases, we are able to capture the essence of a cake, but not all cakes are created exactly the same way, and our artistry may differ from what you have seen in a picture. We encourage you to send us pictures of cakes you like so we can incorporate various themes to make your creation as unique as your event.
We encourage you to have a good idea of what you are interested in having us do. Pictures of cakes, cupcakes, and various desserts that incorporate your ideas are always helpful, as well as a general idea of how many people you are interested in serving; and of course the date you'll need it.
We would be honored to work with you for the confections at your event, and we do ask that all orders are prepaid simply due to the custom nature of our business. It is a $100 non-refundable deposit or 25% of the total, whichever is greater. The remainder is due three weeks before your event date.
(It's just not that easy to sell a carved motorcycle cake with "Happy Birthday Joe" on it to anyone else!)

No, there is no cost to meet with us. However, on rare occasions we do ask for a deposit if the confection you are interested in having us do will require multiple meetings, or involve a great deal of time to design and price.

Yes, we offer delivery for any order throughout the Treasure Valley, and anywhere within a few hours drive including McCall, Sun Valley, Stanley and Eastern Oregon for a nominal fee. Included in the price is a one hour consultation with one complimentary cake tasting.
Yes, we offer our Sample Box. These are boxes of our choice of 8 different flavored cakes and fillings along with our buttercream icing. It's a great way to sample a variety of available flavors and it's only $10. We usually have them available, but please call first if you would like to pick one up. We don't offer all of our flavors all the time, and we don't do specific requests of flavors for our Sample Boxes. But if you are curious what some of our cakes taste like, please pick one up!
Since we are not a retail store, we tend to work when we need to, and play when we can. So, we ask customers that choose to pick up their order to schedule a specific time to meet us at our bakery. This tends to work best for everyone, as we may be out on a delivery and wouldn't want to keep you waiting.
Yes, we do offer cake and cupcake classes from September through April. The best way to find out about upcoming classes is to send us an email and we will add you to our class list and email you first when new classes are scheduled. You are also encouraged to join our Facebook page to find out about upcoming classes there as well.
We limit the number of participants to 8 for cupcake decorating classes and 6 for cake decorating classes, and they fill up quickly. The cost is $40 per person for cupcake classes and $50 for cake classes which includes 12 cupcakes or one 6" cake (depending on the class), all tools, and instruction. Classes usually last 2 hours.
