About Us
Aimee and Chris started Amaru Confections in Denver.  Aimee is a certified chef and top graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute in Denver, Colorado.  She also received formal training in the art of chocolate and pastry making from the top chocolatiers in France at the Lenotre Institute just outside Paris, France.  In addition to her culinary background, Aimee has been a Registered Nurse for more than 10 years and works part-time in the Critical Care Unit of a local hospital. 


Chris has owned and operated several businesses in his career and assists his wife in the “behind the scenes” work of making the business work and grow.
